What’s weirder: Michelle Wie vaporized for the Temple of Love, or everything L. Ron Hubbard?
May 9, 2006 by William K. Wolfrum
Some times you come across Web sites that just make your day. Today’s battle?
The Temple of Love vs. L. Ron Hubbard
From The Temple of Love:
” … a black sooty desolate choking permanently uninhabitable Earth, babies charred instantly into black ashes and Michelle Wie vaporized in the middle of her backswing on her way to victory in the Open Championship. Johnny Miller says, ‘Michelle’s away!’ “
And L. Ron Hubbard:
“Thus, at 2000 hours, Friday 24 January 1986, L. Ron Hubbard discarded the body he had used in this lifetime for seventy-four years, ten months and eleven days. The body he had used to facilitate his existence in this universe had ceased to be useful and in fact had become an impediment to the work he now must do outside its confines.”
This one is really tough to call. They are both so truly fantastic on so many levels. I guess there really are no losers. Except Scientologists, of course. Seriously, they really believe all that crap.

Dear Bill,
I loved your article on The Temple of Love in travelgolf.com thanks, you’re as dry as I am, you must like Nick Faldo’s dryness too. Here is an article you may like called “The Secret to Golf Length.”
