The Vlogosphere: Perhaps freedom of speech is overrated

I really like this rant.

Why? Well, it was aimed at the place I work for one. Even more so, I appreciate the anger that there’s sexism in the “vlogosphere.”

Who would have thought that a soon-to-be overcrowded medium could have sexism attached to it? Shocking. All things computer had been so balanced up until now.

What did I learn from the video? Well, nothing much, but at least Barbara Shoot probably feels better. Though I could just imagine her making that speech in front of her bathroom mirror about five years ago, patiently awaiting for Vlogs to get popular.

And I solemnly swear to never again write the word “vlogosphere.” It’s much too gay … chicky … lame.
