Tom Joe LiebLay could be “DeMan” to run new state of ConnectAss
In the ultimate gerrymandering move, a bill is being simultaneously pushed through the Texas and Connecticut congress’s that will combine the two states into one super-state called “ConnectAss.” While some political pundits have scoffed at the idea, others have applauded it as groundbreaking.
“What we’re going to have to do is literally break the ground between Texas and Connecticut,” said a joint Republican/Democrat spokesman on the condition on anonymity. “In the end, all the country loses is places like Oklahoma and West Virginia, so there should be very little in the way of outrage. We have (Pat) Robertson praying for a Katrina II to take care of a lot of this for us.”
The proposal comes as Democrat Sen. Joe Lieberman has made indications that he will run for Senate as an independent to punish voters for handing him an embarrassing loss in his primary. On the flip side, Texas Representative Tom DeLay has announced he will not run for election despite a court-ordered ruling that he remain on the ballot due to his winning his primary.
Experts say the controversial move will then pave the way for splicing the two controversial candidates into one Republican/Democrat Senatorial/Congressional super-candidate that will run under the name Tom Joe “DeMan” LiebLay.
“We really feel that Lieblay is the perfect, all-purpose candiate for a super-state like ConnectAss,” the spokesman said over drinks at a Holiday Inn in Lubbock. “He’s half Jew, half gentile, a republican-democrat, anti-porn and all war, baby.”
Tom Joe LiebLay could not be reached for comment.
