Engaging in all out nuclear war in response to terrorism is overkill. On the other end of the spectrum, using the National Guard and U.S. Reserve forces as an invasion/occupation force is a poor strategy. Every U.S. President has had to crack down on military crackpots. It appears that the crackpots are being encouraged today, with predictable results. The results speak volumes about the mess in Iraq. The Iraqi military has been defeated and now we are attempting to rebuild it to our specifications. If we leave Iraq with no military in place, it may just be safer than a Iraq with a military. The risk is that some other country will invade Iraq. Invasion is a strategy of the past. It has never worked very well, which is a lesson Germany learned during World War Two.

Yes, there are thousands of similar blogs with like comments.

It is so unfair of muslims to hate freedom and democracy like they do and not give in to compassionate conservatism as displayed in these blogs. Some people will never play fair it seems.

America is lost to humanity I fear.
