The United States: The best allies terrorists have ever had
August 7, 2007 by William K. Wolfrum
From the moment George W. Bush ignored the Presidential Daily Briefing, “Bin Laden Determined to Strike in the U.S.”, Islamic extremists and Middle Eastern insurgents have had no better friend than the U.S.
A brief look at but a few of the ways George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, William Kristol, Richard Pearle, et al, have fought the “War on Terror”:
1. Created more terrorists throughout the Middle East and the world.
2. Allowed bin Laden to remain free after dramatically guaranteeing to bring him in “dead or alive”.
3. Allowed Taliban to regain prominence in Afghanistan.
4. Put 130,000 weapons, and other military gear into the hands of insurgents and terrorists.
5. Armed and trained insurgents as mercenaries.
These are not the acts of an enemy. These are the acts of allies.
