Salman Rushdie survived Jihad, and so will you

It’s extremely clear that many on the extreme right are convinced that Islamic extremists are heading to the U.S. in their Rowboat of Doom with the soul purpose of enslaving us all and forcing us to live under Sharia Law.
Let me counter:

Uh, yeah. And do you know how he has survived? He had to go into hiding for about a decade. Is that the kind of life you want to lead?
Salman Rushdie not only survived, but he bags the hotties too! and I don’t think I would mind hiding out the way he did. you know chillin’ at a villa in Sweden, hittin’ the slopes, etc.
You miss the forest for the trees. The point is that they couldn’t even kill one lousy guy. Or are you claiming that somehow our entire nation is going to have to hide from warring muslims taking over our country by force? Then again with our military doing everything BUT protecting and defending our own shores, choked in the foreign entatglements our founders warned about explicitly, maybe you have a point.
