This just in: Another General, General Sanchez, just betrayed his country by pulling his head out of the sand, an act severally frowned upon by the Bush administration.

But what shall the spin be? How can Fox and Bush spin this?

I know the standard Richard Clarke spin by heart because every time his name is mentioned Condoleezza Rice says, “I know he wanted a job in Homeland Security and did not get it.”

I’m giddy in anticipation to see yet again just how profoundly stupid the Bush administration thinks we are. And yet, at the same time, I fear just how stupid we all are.
