Then Sen. Chris Dodd, who has made restoration of the Constitution a platform in his presidential campaign, announces that he’ll put a hold on any bill that grants retroactive immunity to telecoms that went along with presidential orders to hand over their customers’ calling records. Of course, Bush says the telecoms did nothing wrong, so why do they need immunity?
