By making America suck, Republican rule ushering in new immigration problem

November 16, 2007 by William K. Wolfrum

As now is the time when presidential candiates are focusing time and energy on inconsequential issues like Social Security reform, it is high time that candidates start taking hard looks at other problems that could rock the U.S. to its very foundation in upcoming eons.

Because while the news that Lou Dobbs was considering a presidential run sent shockripples throughout much of CNN, there is another immigration problem that threatens the U.S.

You see, there are literally several people in the United States that subscribe to the Dobbsian-Tancredian “Every-Day-Is-the-Attack-Scene-From-Red-Dawn-And-Mexican-And-Islamic-Hordes-Are-Taking-Over-And-You-Better-Start-Pissing-In-The-Radiator-Before-They-Butcher-Us-All and-Turn-Our-Genetalia-Into-a-Soup-To-Be-Served-With-Rice-and-Beans-or-Cous-Cous” theory.

The problem of rampant illegal immigration in the U.S. is a self-solving one, however. You see, one of the upsides of having a long stretch of Republican leadership has been the overall effect of making the U.S. a nation where immigrants no longer wish to sneak into. To poorly quote Jerry Seinfeld “Why would anyone want to leave a country with ponies to go to a non-pony country.”

With haphazard health care and few jobs that don’t require a name tag, as well as a currency that racing toward equal value with the Somali shilling, sneaking into the U.S. is more and more appearing to be a fool’s errand. Basically, the poor of other nations will soon be finding it much more cost effective to take crappy jobs in their own countries, bypassing the arduous task of sneaking past hyper-patriotic “Minute Men” in the deserts of Arizona.

The self-fixing of this illegal immigrant problem, however, will quite likely lead to a new problem, as mega-rich criminals and dictators of other nations will soon be sneaking into the U.S. to set up compounds, ala Paraguay.

Yes, in but a few years, mogul-dictators like Perez Musharraf will be sneaking through into the U.S. and creating compounds in states like Montana, Utah and Texas. And the U.S. government will once again turn a blind eye. Think about it, the current government does little more than make empty threats toward illegal immigrants, as well as despotic wannabe-dictators. When the wannabe dictators become illegal immigrants, those in charge of the U.S. will give them the same type of attention they tend to give injured veterans – virtually none.

So remember, when candidates for President and other offices spend the majority of 2008 discussing issues that have no real affect on average Americans, there is one non-issue that truly threatens us all – the inevitable trent of reverse illegal immigration.

Because one day, maybe soon, those looking at coming to the U.S. to work hard and better themselves wil be looking elsewhere. And those looking for a government that coddles rich tyrants and criminals will find a perfect place to take refuge in a nation where the currency is collapsing faster than the infrastucture.

    “Lou Dobbs”

I would like to see Lou Dobbs and Nancy Grace in an outrage contest. And on the undercard, the comedy stylings of Glenn Beck.

(I mean, with Beck it is intentional, right?)
