Bush goes to Israel to promote peace; Also, Britney Spears heads to Saudi Arabia to advise girls how to dress

As we speak, George W. Bush is in Israel, trying desperately to find a way to broker a peace deal between Israel and Palestine, at least before Israel has completely wiped the Palestinians from the planet.
“Aide: Bush in Israel to ‘encourage’ peace talks”
JERUSALEM (CNN) — President Bush arrived in Israel Wednesday to spur the fragile Mideast peace process and encourage Israeli and Palestinian negotiators “to stay focused,” said an aide Wednesday.

“We seek lasting peace. We see a new opportunity for peace here in the Holy Land and freedom across the region,” Bush told dignitaries at Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion Airport, standing shoulder to shoulder with Israeli President Shimon Peres and Prime Minister Ehud Olmert.
“We will discuss our deep desire for security, for freedom and for peace throughout the Middle East.
Yeah, this should work. Things oughtta really settle down over there now. In other news, Britney Spears has been sent by Bush as a special envoy to Saudi Arabia to help teach young girls how to dress age appropriate.

2003 – Destabilize the whole region with a massive and completely unnecessary invasion of Iraq that intensifies hatred of the US and completely destroys any credibility we had as peacemakers.
Jan 2001 – Jan 2008 – Ignore the Israel-Palestine issue.
2008 – Clown around the middle east making last minute lame duck quacks about peace.
Jan 2009 – Back to Texas to fish and hunt and never again think twice about the consequences of his presidency.
