Outrage is all the rage. And FOX has be at the forefront of this new newsy genre for the last many years. I will be so glad if and when dispassioned, professionalish news anchoring comes back in style.

No more random op-eds from reporters and anchors in the middle of a story, no more asking a panel of various nuts their opinion on news items, and most importantly, no more goofy phone or web polls.

What a great idea that is: Let’s conduct a poll of people who are nutty enough to bother to phone in or log on and then pretend that it means something. The whole thing makes me angry. So very, very angry.
