One-Liner: Everyone Wants Obama

Today, I had to file some paperwork for my residency in Brazil. Upon seeing I was American, the Brazilian police official going over my paperwork asked “So, Obama will win, right?”

    Not sure what saddens me more — the manner by which eight years of arrogant policies & destructive practices have tarnished the reputation of the United States among the global community, or the fact that so many Americans seem to view this international disdain as some type of badge of honor.

    Here’s hoping we give that Brazilian police officer & tens of millions of others something to smile about next week.
