All Sarah Palin First Amendment are belong to us

Sarah Palin is a dangerous Jesus Jihadist, Christian Fundamentalist, Creationist End-of-Timer. A vote for her and John McCain means the true End of History.
Hehehehe. I totally took away Sarah Palin’s First Amendment rights. Hehehehe.

Looks like (in her mind, @ least) Sarah P.’s 1st Amendment rights have gone the way of Bristol Palin’s privacy & self-respect … Johnny McMaverick’s “honor” … Karl Rove’s permanent Republican majority … the philosophy that deregulation is always the answer … the protestations by the far right that they’re really not racist … etc., etc., etc …
Here’s hopin’ that Nov. 4 results in what Sarah P. would consider a full restoration of her 1st Amendment rights: that is, the lack of her name ever appearing in the news again, dontcha know fer sure you betcha (wink!).
Our society is so artificial and so much about appearances, images, and sound bites, that people like Palin and Bush go a long way without having the first clue about our history or our democratic traditions or the constitution.
It’s fucking sick. She’s a governor of a state for crying out loud.
Every politician is going to say the occasional stupid thing, & every person who’s ever run for office has likely “interpreted” the truth at one time or the other in a means that best suits him/her.
But this is far, far beyond that: Within the next 48 hours, millions of Americans are going to cast their votes for a ticket that includes a woman who cannot define the job of vice president, and who fundamentally misunderstands THE FIRST AMENDMENT OF THE US CONSTITUTION.
Saddest of all in this situation is the fact that some will cast those votes precisely *because* of her aggressive, arrogant ignorance.
