John McCain: “Trickle Down! Trickle Down! Trickle Down!”

John McCain, who spent 2007 failing to convince Americans that he cared about anything other than becoming President, has now redefined what he’s all about. He’s a Republican, thus, only tax cuts – and lots of the would make him vote for President Barack Obama’s economic stimulus package.

We need to make tax cuts permanent and need to make a commitment that they’ll be no new taxes. We need to cut payroll taxes. We need to cut business taxes.

Tax cuts. It’s all they have. No matter how simple it is to look back and see how GOP Presidents have always enacted tax cuts, and how they’ve never accomplished anything but to make rich people richer. It just doesn’t trickle down. Ever
