CPAC unveils fresh new idea – Mitt Romney for President

March 2, 2009 by William K. Wolfrum

At this stage of the game, the only real difference between Conservatives and 9/11 Conspiracists is that Conservatives don’t believe the government is capable of blowing itself up. Aside from that, both groups have settled nicely into a world where reality is optional.

WASHINGTON (CNN) — Conservative activists on Saturday named former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney the winner of a poll for best 2012 GOP presidential candidate.

The poll marked the third consecutive year Romney came out on top.

Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal placed second in the annual poll, conducted at the Conservative Political Action Conference.

Romney received 20 percent of the vote and Jindal got 14 percent.

Close behind were Texas Rep. Ron Paul and Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, who each received 13 percent of the vote.

Mitt Romney in 2012. Who says Conservatives are out of ideas?

I’ll tell you what he should do. He should run on McCain’s 08 ticket for VP. Or maybe the GOP should go with someone fresh and spunky…an outsider who reforms stuff and is a person of independent or unorthodox views…there is a word for that but it escapes me at the moment. Mav something or the other…

McCain/Romney 08! It could still happen.
