Come to William K. Wolfrum’s Coffee Break at the National Mall on July 4!
April 14, 2009 by William K. Wolfrum
My friends, a new movement is sweeping across the nation. Millions of Americans are bursting at the seams with a love of country and mankind. I sense the optimism coming from all corners of this great country. This is why I, William K. Wolfrum have organized “William K. Wolfrum’s Coffee Break at the National Mall” set for July 4, 2009, at the National Mall in Washington, D.C.
This is a pure grassroots effort. Really, really pure, and you have my word on that. Because Americans of all stripes are ready to step forward and proclaim their love for their country. This love endures despite continued mishandling of the economic crisis, and the potential for higher taxes on those that make more than $250,000 a year.

But its genesis and enthusiasm are pure grassroots: it will be a lot of people who’ve had enough, brought together by the power of the Web.
These aren’t the usual semiprofessional protesters who attend antiwar and pro-union marches. These are people with real jobs; most have never attended a protest march before. They represent a kind of energy that our politics hasn’t seen lately, and an influx of new activists.
Here is a rough outline for events for this completely and totally spontaneous celebration:

My friends, every day we are bombarded with threats of violent revolution because people who make over $250,000 a year don’t want to pay taxes. “William K. Wolfrum’s Coffee Break at the National Mall” is a grassroots effort to get out and show not just our love of country, but our willingness to pay reasonable taxes. Because, you know, we live in a society, and all.
