Torture apologists are illiterate when it comes to this paragraph

Torture apologists like Bill O’Reilly are illiterate when it comes to this statement:
“The information gained from these techniques was valuable in some instances, but there is no way of knowing whether the same information could have been obtained through other means,” Admiral Blair said in a written statement issued last night. “The bottom line is these techniques have hurt our image around the world, the damage they have done to our interests far outweighed whatever benefit they gave us and they are not essential to our national security.”
But are as literate as hell when it comes to this one:
“High value information came from interrogations in which those methods were used and provided a deeper understanding of the al Qa’ida organization that was attacking this country,” Adm. Dennis C. Blair, the intelligence director, wrote in a memo to his staff last Thursday.

Blair proves himself to be, on the one hand, liberal scum, and on the other hand, a true American patriot.
You want something to blog about? Blog about the fact that in the late 80’s Jermaine Jackson and Michael Jackson had a duet entitled “Torture” that would have been a smash hit if the competing record labels could have agreed on releasing it as a single. It was awesome.
Oh the 80’s, when Michael was not a pedo as far as we knew and I could occasionally dunk a girl’s sized basketball on a regulation goal.
Which just goes to show, that if I would have worked on strengthening my grip, I could have played in the NBA. Because the NBA is all about dunking, ya know what I mean?
The Answer: Michael Jackson … a girl’s-sized basketball … and dgun’s grip.
The Question: A blog post on what three topics would be guaranteed to earn WKW either a Pulitzer or a visit from the vice squad?
lolz @ hugh
I guess I set myself up for that one. But I live dangerously, so…
Finally! I found the opening line for my Great Americanish Novel:
“Oh the 1980s, when Michael Jackson was not a pedophile as far as we knew and I could occasionally dunk a girl’s sized basketball on a regulation goal. Then the vice squad showed up … “
