Sometimes words are not enough. What do you call a guy who is not just an asshat, but is beyond Bill Kristol in his asshattery? When a clown turns from annoying and goofy into Tim Curry with yellow fangs, what do you call him? It may be time to invent a new word.
I’ve always found that “Rush” or “Beck” gets the job done just fine.
Of course, we all knew that this is how many felt. Being able to use 9/11 as a way to control people with fear was too easy. Now controlling people has become a little more difficult, so we need a terrorist attack so certain people can have their way with policy.
I don’t think there has ever been a time when WTF? was more appropriate.
