Just when it seemed that Hugh had the reader of the year award in the bag (after that great poem) Bill recycles Dgun´s very funny comment.
The plot thickens.
This is one of those rare times when I almost wish I were a Repub, so’s I could blather on & on about how I’m obviously being oppressed in my honest efforts to earn this coveted award, that my First Amendment Rights (which I’m pretty sure guarantee that my blog comments should never be overshadowed by another’s) are being violated, & that, come to think of it, “dgun” don’t sound like no American name I’ve ever heard before …
Sadly, as a progressive with both a brain & a conscience, I’m left with the truth that the esteemed ‘gun can do much more more with less than 20 words than I can in 20 stanzas.
As far as I’m concerned, when it comes to online significance, there’s Wolfrum, there’s dgun, & there’s the rest of us. In that order.
You guys are making me blush.
Thanks for the props. This blog is one of my daily stops on the interweb because Bill is one of the most underrated satirists in the blogosphere and because the handful of regulars who comment here make my day with their wit and insight.
And Hugh, if I had a vote I would vote you reader of the year. And hey, the good news is that this year it’s not a two man race.
