Yes, but there were (are?) plenty of Levites. John the Baptist was one.

They are noted for their traditions involving ceremonial cleansing.

Any Christian denomination that practices Baptism (which I think is all if not most) can claim a little religious heritage from the Levites.

Bring Leviticus on ! Although not a person, but writings,
“Leviticus is basically a manual or handbook on holiness designed to instruct the covenant community in holy worship and holy living so that they might enjoy the presence and blessing of God (cf. Lev. 26:1-13).I say send a copy to Obama; he needs some instructions on holy living.
