One-Liner: Golf pros support McCain

Thursday, October 23rd, 2008

It seems as though golf teaching professionals are overwhelmingly conservative. And those that hurl their golf clubs in anger are almost 100 percent behind John McCain, I’ve been told.

Simple answers to extremely stupid questions

Thursday, October 23rd, 2008

From Sorry Dad, I voted for Obama:

Q: “John McCain IS an American Veteran. How can you not support yourself?”

A: He supports himself quite well, it’s OTHER veterans he doesn’t support. Especially injured ones.

This ends this episode of “simple questions to extremely stupid questions.”

Voting Machines flip votes from McCain to Obama! Republicans must do something to stop voter machine fraud before it’s too late!!!!

Thursday, October 23rd, 2008

The Brad Blog has reported that a John McCain voters in Tennessee have seen their vote for McCain SWITCHED TO SOCIALIST BARACK OBAMA!!!

Republicans must immediately come together as one to INSURE FAIR ELECTIONS and investigate these machines and who makes them. They must not sit idly by while VOTES ARE BEING SWITCHED!!!

From the Brad Blog:

Now, finally — and thankfully — we have a report of voters experiencing votes flipping from the Republican candidate John McCain, to the Democratic candidate Barack Obama in a second TN county. Does this mean someone can actually take some action to get these machines the hell out of service now?!…

From Tennessee’s Decatur County Chronicle today

Several Decatur County voters are concerned about problems with the voting machines at the Election Commission Office. Voters claim they tried to vote for McCain for President but the machine checked Obama instead.

At least three voters encountered the problem when casting their early ballot on Saturday morning. Franklin Boroughs says he intended to vote for Republican but rather the computer had checked the Democratic candidate instead.

Like Davidson County, TN and Putnam and Jackson Counties, WV, Decatur uses the same ES&S iVotronic machines infamous for vote-flipping and failure.

The machines should never be used in any American election. But since the Democrats apparently won’t call for these machines to be removed and impounded immediately, despite so many similar reports this year and in previous elections, perhaps the Republicans can now demand the machines be impounded and removed from service immediately, and each voter be given a paper ballot instead.

Socialism defined

Wednesday, October 22nd, 2008

That the term “socialist” is being thrown at Barack Obama so much during these final days of the election is yet more proof that conservatives either will say anything necessary to win, or they’re blithering ideologically blind idiots.

From Merriam-Webster:

SOCIALISM

Main Entry: so·cial·ism \
\ˈsō-shə-ˌli-zəm\
Function: noun
Date: 1837

1: any of various economic and political theories advocating collective or governmental ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods

2 a: a system of society or group living in which there is no private property b: a system or condition of society in which the means of production are owned and controlled by the state

3: a stage of society in Marxist theory transitional between capitalism and communism and distinguished by unequal distribution of goods and pay according to work done

Now, the argument could be made that the federal government’s massive and repeated bailouts of financial institutions and banks are a step toward socialism, but even then it’s a stretch. No one’s brought up the concept of eliminating private property.

As for Obama, what he’s been preaching is to step away from the perverted Laissez-faire economics of the past eight years and progressive taxation.

In the end, the mainstream media should be ashamed of itself for not stomping all over all this socialist talk. “Socialist” is a noun, and it can be defined. Everything you hear from the likes of Bay Buchanan, Rush Limbaugh and others of their ilk is just plain nonsense. Calling Obama a socialist is not an opinion. It’s a fear-mongering lie.

Rock star Sarah Palin spends $150K on clothes, trashes hotel room, bites head off puffin

Wednesday, October 22nd, 2008

NEW YORK CITY — Rock star Sarah Palin, fresh off her performances on “Saturday Night Live” and “The 700 Club” went wild in New York, sources close to this blog say. Palin went on a wild $150,000 shopping spree for clothes, trashed her hotel room and hurled a television out the window onto the street below before biting the head off a puffin and then calling Barack Obama a socialist buddy of terrorists.

“The room just stank of moose urine and Spenard,” said an anonymous worker at the Omni Hotel in Manhattan. “We’ll probably never get the rock salt and polar bear feces out of the curtains.”

The NYC is just the latest spree for Palin, the Rock star who is running for the vice-presidency for the Republican Party - previously she ran up a tab of some $20 million during her time as rock star mayor of Wasilla, Alaska, and fired a city worker who upset her husband, Todd, a famous snowmobile racer.

Some have blamed Palin’s meteoric rise to the top of the political world for her increasingly eccentric behavior. In the last six weeks, the former TV journalist has called the majority of Americans “anti-American,” and called Democratic Presidential nominee a socialist who “pals around with terrorists,” while whipping up hate at her daily concerts.

But sources close to Palin - who has surrendered her work as Alaskan Governor to members of John McCain’s campaign - say it’s par for the course for the rock star politician.

“We’re used to it,” said one Alaskan, who refused to be named for fear of retribution. “I mean, she built a $26-million road in the middle of nowhere that leads to nothing and no one uses, after all.”

Still, many seemed focused on the $150,000 shopping spree, which comes at a time when 80 percent of U.S. states report job losses, home foreclosures continue, and some families fore go prescription drugs in order to end meet. Nonetheless, the Palin camp remains defiant.

“She’s entitled to it,” said Palin spokeswoman Sharon Leighow.

Despite the rock star behavior, Palin continues to be a huge draw, with her concerts generally outdrawing McCain’s. Nonetheless, the source at the Omni Hotel remains unimpressed.

“There are chunks of halibut and salmon everywhere,” said the source. “And seeing a headless puffin is just sad. That’s really not right.”

John McCain wins Al Qaeda endorsement

Tuesday, October 21st, 2008

John McCain has made it a talking point that Al Qaeda has said Iraq is the central battleground in the fight against terrorism and terrorist organizations are always straightforward and upfront when they make assessments.

“For the first time I have seen Osama bin Laden and General Petraeus in agreement, and that is, the central battleground in the battle against al Qaeda is in Iraq today. And that’s what bin Laden is saying and that’s what General Petraeus is saying and that’s what I’m saying.”

So, one wonders if McCain will soon promote the fact that, Al Qaeda supporters have endorsed him for President.

Really:

WASHINGTON – Al-Qaida supporters suggested in a Web site message this week they would welcome a pre-election terror attack on the U.S. as a way to usher in a McCain presidency.

The message, posted Monday on the password-protected al-Hesbah Web site, said if al-Qaida wants to exhaust the United States militarily and economically, “impetuous” Republican presidential candidate Sen. John McCain is the better choice because he is more likely to continue the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

“This requires presence of an impetuous American leader such as McCain, who pledged to continue the war till the last American soldier,” the message said. “Then, al-Qaida will have to support McCain in the coming elections so that he continues the failing march of his predecessor, Bush.”

One of the reasons that Al Qaeda supports McCain is that - seven years after the 9/11 attack - McCain has admitted to knowing how to capture bin Laden, but that he isn’t telling anyone how to do it. They really must appreciate that.

Now, I wonder if McCain will hit them with that zippy “I’m not George W. Bush” line. That’d show them.

John McCain will reverse himself and start the attacks on Rev. Wright

Tuesday, October 21st, 2008

In commenting on why John McCain would not use attacks on Rev. Jeremiah Wright in his campaign, McCain chief advisor Charlie Black had this to say:

“There’s a big difference between an unrepentant terrorist who blew up the Pentagon and the Capitol and somebody’s pastor, even if we might not agree with the views of the pastor. A big difference.”

But when it comes to winning, being a man of his word takes a back seat to winning. You can guarantee the airwaves will be overwhelmed with McCain ads that prominently feature Wright.

“Look, John McCain has told us a long time ago before this campaign ever got started, back in May, I think, that from his perspective, he was not going to have his campaign actively involved in using Jeremiah Wright as a wedge in this campaign,” Davis said. “Now since then, I must say, when Congressman Lewis calls John McCain and Sarah Palin and his entire group of supporters, fifty million people strong around this country, that we’re all racists and we should be compared to George Wallace and the kind of horrible segregation and evil and horrible politics that was played at that time, you know, that you’ve got to rethink all these things.

“And so I think we’re in the process of looking at how we’re going to close this campaign,” Davis continued. “We’ve got 19 days, and we’re taking serious all these issues.”

Someone not connected to the Obama campaign hurt McCain’s feelings, thus McCain’s word becomes meaningless. Hey, McCain is willing to say that he had to go extremely negative on Obama because Obama didn’t accept McCain’s demands of 10 town hall debates. So basically, when McCain makes decisions about being honorable, he only means that he’ll be as honorable as he needs to be to win. And with his campaign sinking, that means honor is out the window, right along with McCain’s word.

Guaranteed, the last several days before the election, if not before will be wall-to-wall Wright from the McCain campaign. He’ll be all they talk about.

Sorry Dad, I Voted for Obama

Tuesday, October 21st, 2008

It looks like some wise, handsome soul decided to do his part to help American families during this often hateful and angry election season. I just received word that there’s a new blog out there titled “Sorry Dad, I Voted for Obama.”

It looks as though the site is dedicated to helping liberals reconcile their vote for Barack Obama with their conservative parents. From the blog:

This Web site is dedicated to one specific issue - helping liberal voters maintain a solid relationship with their conservative parents. This election will very likely see many cast their first-ever vote in an election, and most of the credit for that can be placed at the feet at the Senator from Illinois. Following eight years of conservative rule, many Americans are hungry for change. They are hungry for someone that stands for change and compassion, someone who represents them. Obama fills these requirements brilliantly, he is young, intelligent and personable. And he is a modern man.

For many conservatives, however, Obama is more than just a candidate for President - he is the most horrifying threat to everything they believe in since, well, John Kerry, Al Gore and Bill Clinton. So while many liberal parents could likely deal with the idea of their child casting a vote for John McCain, for conservative parents, the idea of having their offspring cast a vote for Barack Obama is the type of thing that could very possibly lead to disownment.

Looks interesting. I’d advise all to head over there to give comments and advice on how to keep families whole this election season. And, like me, you should applaud the original thinking and compassion of the brilliant mind behind the site, whoever it happens to be.

Wear Red on Fridays to support John McCain’s Crappy treatment of U.S. Veterans!

Monday, October 20th, 2008

Very soon, you will see a great many people wearing Red every Friday. The reason? American Republicans who support John McCain’s crappy treatment of U.S. Veterans used to be called the “silent majority.” No longer silent, American Republicans are voicing their love for God, country and total support of John McCain’s crappy treatment of U.S. Veterans in record-breaking numbers.

They are not organized, boisterous or overbearing. Many American Republicans simply want to show they support John McCain voting against $430 million for the Department of Veteran Affairs for Medical Services for outpatient care and treatment for veterans. American Republicans must wear Red to show they support John McCain not even bothering to vote on the 21st Century G.I. Bill and that they agree with McCain that U.S. Veterans don’t deserve dignity and respect.

Starting this Friday — and continuing each and every Friday until the VA Medical System is privatized once and for all — every red-blooded American Republican that supports John McCain’s Crappy Treatment of U.S. Veterans will wear something Red on Fridays and try and privatize all VA Hospitals like they privatized Walter Reed.

By word of mouth, press, TV — American Republicans make the United States on every Friday a sea of Red to show their support for how John McCain voted against increasing Veterans medical services funding by $1.5 billion in 2007 by closing corporate tax loopholes.

If every American Republican who supports John McCain’s decision to vote against creating a reserve fund to allow for an increase in Veterans’ medical care by $1.8 billion by eliminating abusive tax loopholes will share this with acquaintances, coworkers, friends, and family, it will not be long before the USA is covered in RED and it will let Veterans know the once “silent majority” is not on their side more than ever, certainly less than the media lets on. The first thing a Veteran says when they are asked “How Can John McCain do less for you?” is … “Is that even possible?” So American Republicans can show their support for John McCain’s Crappy Treatment of U.S. Veterans by wearing something Red every Friday.

IF YOU SUPPORT JOHN McCAIN’S CRAPPY TREATMENT OF VETERANS -THEN SEND THIS ON.

IF YOU COULD CARE LESS — THEN LET YOUR CONSCIENCE BE YOUR GUIDE.

IT IS YOUR CHOICE.

LEST WE NEVER FORGET, WE LIVE IN THE LAND OF THE FREE BECAUSE OF THE BRAVE.

SO AMERICAN REPUBLICANS, WEAR RED THIS FRIDAY TO SHOW THAT YOU ARE ON JOHN McCAIN’S SIDE
AND BELIEVE AMERICAN VETERANS SHOULD BE TREATED LIKE CRAP!

Sarah Palin fits right in with the “agents of intolerance” at The 700 Club

Monday, October 20th, 2008

The 700 Club has an exclusive interview with Sarah Palin. It’s the perfect fit for the media-hating Republican. After all, other stories promoted by the prominent radical Christianists:

Of course, I would never give Palin hell for working with Pat Robertson or call him an “Agent of Intolerance.” I’ll leave that for John McCain.

Here is some of what Palin had to say to The 700 Club:

On supporting a Constitutional Amendment banning gay marriage:

“I am, in my own, state, I have voted along with the vast majority of Alaskans who had the opportunity to vote to amend our Constitution defining marriage as between one man and one woman. I wish on a federal level that that’s where we would go because I don’t support gay marriage. I’m not going to be out there judging individuals, sitting in a seat of judgment telling what they can and can’t do, should and should not do, but I certainly can express my own opinion here and take actions that I believe would be best for traditional marriage and that’s casting my votes and speaking up for traditional marriage that, that instrument that it’s the foundation of our society is that strong family and that’s based on that traditional definition of marriage, so I do support that.”

On Barack Obama’s stance on abortion:

“I think the most troubling issue that I know of that Barack Obama is completely the other side of John McCain and that I am on is, is the abortion issue because his abortion stance is so extreme. It’s so, so far left that it’s way out of the mainstream. I think he’s in some sense succeeded in trying to package up, and pretty-up some of his policies to make them look mainstream even on abortion, but American voters have got to realize his opposition to parental consent, his opposition to a ban on partial birth abortion and most troubling his opposition to the child born alive act, I think should be, and I say this, I mean, this is mild to say it is quite concerning. But to withhold medical intervention for a baby who is born alive as a result of a botched abortion and to allow that child to die without the medical intervention that that child deserves I, it’s appalling to me and I think it should concern voters, and I think they just need to know of that record, and it’s not mean spirited and it’s not negative campaigning to call somebody out on their record, so that record of extreme, extreme position taken on abortion, I think should be discussed and considered.”

On what she prays for:

“Pray of course for about my family that my kids will not be adversely affected by some of the political shots of course that, that we’ve been taking the last couple of months. I pray for my son’s safety over in Iraq fighting for us in a striker brigade in the US Army and for all of our troops and I pray too for in the grander, greater scheme of things also that God’s hand of protection would be over our country and that we as individuals would be endowed with strength to do all that we can to protect our nation and protect our Constitutional rights and do those things that I believe will make our country better, greater, but it’s going to take even more than that truly it will take God’s hand of protection to be continually over our land and His wisdom, His grace, His favor I pray for that for our country. I pray for that for other nations also, so that other nations would be safe, would be healthy, that the people who live there - especially the children who are growing up in some of these nations that are certainly not as privileged as we are would know that there is hope, that there is opportunity if they seek that and if they seek God’s guidance.”

On why she won’t do interviews with cable news channels other than Fox News:

“Well sometimes it just doesn’t do any good. I mean you set yourself up just to continually be mocked, you know so sometimes that doesn’t do any good, but what I have done in this campaign is in reaching out to the American voters through our rallies, through the one on ones, through the small meetings that we’ve had trying to get our message out, our plans for this country out there minus the filter of some of the filter of the mainstream media because, because that filter as, as we see every day when we turn on the news too often there is this, this opaqueness, there is this, this spin, this contortion of a person’s words and intentions and that does more harm than good, so it’s a greater challenge for me and for John McCain to try to get our message out there without that filter of I think some of the world’s media. It’s a greater challenge, but again, it does make us work harder and try to reach more people.”

On the terrible beating God has taken this election cycle:

“I think the saddest part of that is that faith, not just my faith, faith and God in general has been mocked through this campaign, and that breaks my heart and that is unfair for others who share a faith in God and chose to worship our Lord in whatever private manner that they deem fit and my faith has always been pretty personal. I haven’t really worn it on my sleeve. I haven’t been out there preaching it. I’ve always been of the mind that you caalk the walk. You just don’t have to be talking the talk about your beliefs, so just wanting maybe my life to be able to reflect my faith. So it’s always been pretty personal and that was kind of a surprise in the last couple of months that people would misconstrue and spin anything that has to do with my faith or anybody else’s and turn it into something to be mocked. That’s very sad. I don’t think that there’s anything that I can do about it, so you know, I won’t, I won’t whine or complain about it, but nobody is going to convince me that my foundation of faith is not good for me and for my family no matter the mocking, no matter what anybody says about it, I’m going to keep plugging away at this and I’m going to keep seeking God’s guidance and His wisdom and His favor and His grace, for me, for my family, for this campaign, for our nation.”

John McCain and Republicans: Socialism for GE, not for thee

Monday, October 20th, 2008

John McCain has fallen in love with the new plan of attack that 40 percent of Americans pay no income taxes, so giving them a tax rebate is akin to welfare. Of course, no one seems interested in pointing out that McCain’s grandiose tax cuts to big corporations is yet another form of Republican-backed Corporate Socialism.

After all, there are a hell of a lot of huge corporations, both domestic and multi-national, that pay no income taxes whatsoever.

Yet McCain still want to give them massive new “tax” breaks.

U.S. Corporations That Pay No Taxes Still Get Tax Breaks

Sept. 22—Nearly one-third of the nation’s largest and most profitable corporations paid no federal income tax between 2001 and 2003—yet still received billions of dollars in tax rebates, according to a new study.

Corporate Income Taxes in the Bush Years, released Sept. 22 by Citizens for Tax Justice (CTJ) and the Institute on Taxation and Economic Policy, finds 82 of 275 companies CTJ examined enjoyed at least one year in 2001–2003 in which they paid no federal income taxes yet received billions of dollars in outright tax rebates. In 2003 alone, 46 of the companies paid no federal income taxes and in some cases, received tax rebates.

The companies, all on the Fortune 500 list, were profitable in each of the three years analyzed.

General Electric Co., which lobbies extensively for tax breaks, topped the list of corporate tax-break recipients, receiving nearly $10 billion in tax subsidies over the three-year period, according to the report.

Simply put, John McCain, George W. Bush and the current incarnation of the Republican party are socialists. Only their socialism is designed to destroy U.S. Society.

A question of integrity

Monday, October 20th, 2008

Just wondering: If an ad agency heinously insulted and defamed Barack Obama’s daughters, do you think he’d work with them afterward? Would you?

Because John McCain would if he thought it would get him some extra votes..

Why is the media afraid to call out white people for supporting John McCain because he’s white?

Sunday, October 19th, 2008

Alright, we gotta ask a question, look would Rudy Giuliani be endorsing John McCain if he were a Black Conservative Republican?

And I think this adds to my calculation — this is very hard to measure — but it seems to me if we had the tools to measure we’d find that John McCain gets two votes because he’s White for every one he loses because he’s White because so much of this country is so eager, a, to feel good about itself by doing this, but more than that to put paid to the whole George Bush/Dick Cheney game of political rhetoric.

Doubt me? Just ask if McCain would be where he is at if he were a black man. The answer is inevitable.

Giuliani says his endorsement is not about race. OK, fine. I am now researching his past endorsements to see if I can find all the inexperienced, very conservative, black candidates he has endorsed. I’ll let you know what I come up with.

Go ahead and illegally download music - John McCain could care less about copyrighted material, why should you?

Saturday, October 18th, 2008

Feeling bad about yourself for illegally downloading music? Don’t sweat it. After all, when the candidate for the American conservatives uses copyrighted material without not only a care, but without any ramifications, then all the rules are off the table.

From Politico:

The familiar opening chords of The Rolling Stones’s “Start Me Up” blared as soon as McCain finished his remarks here.

From the BBC:

Bon Jovi song, Who Says You Can’t Go Home, was used during rallies held by Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin this week.

In a statement, the star said the band “do not approve” of the song’s use.

Foo Fighters, Heart and Jackson Browne have all asked Mr McCain to stop using their tracks in his presidential bid. …

… Earlier this week, the Rolling Stones’ track, Start Me Up, was played at a McCain rally in Pennsylvania.

A spokesman said: “The Stones were not asked permission by McCain to use their song Start Me Up.

So download away, folks. Copyrights are now meaningless. Of course, I could be wrong. It may just be OK for Republican politicians to break laws without any worry of legal problems.

Breaking News: “Joe Sixpack” a trial lawyer that doesn’t drink beer or live on Main Street

Friday, October 17th, 2008

Every day, Republican Vice-Presidential nominee Sarah Palin talks about him. He has become a huge part of John McCain’s campaign. He is a man everyone can relate to.

His name is Joe Sixpack.

Or, at least, that’s what they tell you. In a long-running WilliamKWolfrum.com investigation, we have learned some disturbing facts about Mr. Sixpack. Facts that threaten to completely derail the election and possibly destroy American Democracy as we know it.

According to the voter registration rolls of Mr. Sixpack’s last known address - 12345 Main Street, Main Street, USA - There is no “Joseph Sixpack” registered to vote. Other versions of the name (Joe 6-Pack, Joe Kegger, etc.) also didn’t show up. However, one interesting name did show up - Robert Exoticberrywinecooler.

Exoticberrywinecooler not only shares the same address of Joe Sixpack, but computer records show they share the same IP address, phone number (555-1212) and Social Security number (123-45-6789). And, in possibly the most damaging connection, Exoticberrywinecooler and Sixpack are both married to a woman named “Mary FuzzyNavel.”

Therefore, we here at WilliamKWolfrum.com can say with complete confidence that “Joe SixPack” is, in fact, Robert Exoticberrywinecooler.

Once we determined that Sixpack was Exoticberrywinecooler, we set out to find out as much about him as possible. Our crack team of researchers found out some damning information about Mr. Exoticberrywinecooler. First of all, he doesn’t drink beer. According to Bob the Bartender at Bob’s Bar and Lounge in Main Street, Mr. Exoticberrywinecooler actually drinks wine coolers, and rarely more than one per sitting. A trial lawyer, Exoticberrywinecooler makes $4.7 million per year, owns four homes, and has been a registered Democrat that has given $2,500 to the Barack Obama Campaign.

Finally, we learned the three most damning facts of the “Joe Sixpack” hoax. First, Exoticberrywinecooler was a member of Weather Underground, alongside Bill Ayers. Second, he has long been a member in good standing with the controversial Alaskan Independence Party. And third, Latte doesn’t actually live in Main Street, instead living in the American territory, the Mariana Islands.

What does this all mean? Well, first of all, these findings mean that the Nov. 4 election must be immediately canceled and martial law must be declared. Also, everyone will immediately lose their health care and the U.S must become a communist regime. Finally, McCain, Palin and Obama must be immediately arrested and executed (we were unable to find any connections to Democratic VP nominee Joe Biden, who is apparently only guilty of being sorta cheesy).

This investigation is ongoing and we expect to find out more about the fraudulent “Joe Sixpack” soon. Stay tuned to WilliamKWolfrum.com and cease discussing all other subjects immediately. This is the big one. This is the story that will lead to the end of the United States of America. God bless you all.
