Brazil Beats N. Korea: The North Koreans did all they could to slow down powerful Brazil, but an impossible-angle goal by Brazilian Maicon helped lead Brazil to the three points in its first 2010 World Cup match. Thanks for the update on the Prez’s speech last night. I didn’t watch it, & when I woke up this morning I was overcome with a gnawing fear that perhaps we as a nation weren’t offering up enough silent entreaties to invisible beings in the sky. Glad to hear that the administration is taking all necessary steps to rectify that critical shortcoming.
